Case : Combating air pollution in Hong Kong
The paper must include an introduction to introduce the theme, to spell out the focus, to indicate the aim, and advance an argument/a standpoint, and to show the organization of the paper; a theory section to identify the theoretical framework perspective; a section on case study to provide the major (environmental management) features of the case; a section on analysis and discussion to critical examine the case based on the theoretical framework and discuss the performance and non-performance; and a conclusion. Citation of references is a MUST.
Note : Theoretical perspective/framework: in order to be analytical, the paper should apply theories to study the realities. In other words, theories are tool of analytical study and through which we display our conceptual skill. For example: if study the public sector reform from the perspective of contracting out. This requires us to go over theories of contacting out in order to get a clear idea about the theoretical underpinnings of contracting out and to establish a set of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of contracting out public services.
