Practical Ways of Writing


           


Time flies by so fast. I never thought I would be able to come this far in this type of job. I never thought I would be able to cope up with all the requirements of the job, but here I am! So far, I have really been able to cope up with all the assigned tasks, no matter how difficult it may seem.  This is due to that fact that I have discovered practical ways of writing and easier methods of composing high – quality paper.


Basically, in writing, one must be able to first distinguish the topic of the paper. By topic, I do not mean what the instructor assigns to you; by topic, I mean the essence of the assignment. By knowing that, one can easily plan out what to do and how to go about the task, no matter how time constricted one may be.


Next, the one must be very particular about the details of the assignment. One must take note of every detail, even to the last, smallest detail, because leaving out a single detail on the assignment may cause disasters later on. One must really ask the instructor on every detail and subtopic regarding the assignment.


Then comes the task of data gathering. Here’s a tip: make sure you gather all the necessary data on the assignment before starting to write. This cuts the writing and thinking time in half. Of course, one must only gather information which could be deemed very related to the topic, and of course, do not forget to copy the source. That is very vital in referencing. After gathering the data, one must pick only the closest data to the topic. This includes removing unnecessary words and paragraphs that are a bit far from the topic. After which, one must arrange the data in order for it to make sense.


When all the necessary data have been gathered, it would be much easier to compose any type of paper. When writing the paper, one must first give an overview of the things discussed in the paper. After which, one must then start with all the necessary inclusions in the paper.


Furthermore, one must take note of the grammatical aspects of the paper. One must take time to proof – read the paper in order to make sure that it would not fail in the grammatical aspects of the presentation. An easy way to do that is to turn on the computer’s grammar and spelling check. That way, it would be much easier to check and edit the mistakes committed in the making of the paper.


Another important aspect which must not be overlooked is proper referencing. Proper referencing is a way of showing respect to the people who worked hard in making the paper that one may use as a reference. Furthermore, cases of plagiarism are very rampant, so one must be very vigilant in making a plagiarism – free paper. This is why I stated that one must always take note of the sources. This ways, the sources can be properly referenced and given due credit.


There are many ways to write a paper. Be it an essay or a report, one must always make sure to read on the topic assigned, and enjoy writing.
