      Ask about a brand of photocopy and eventually you get a Xerox. Ask about a Camera and you get the Kodak and ask about the world’s number one in the world of fast-food chain and definitely you get more than 75 percent of yes to McDonald.  


      So how this company has established their power in branding? This is not an easy task it will take years of effort, money and talent to win the heart of the customers when it comes to power branding. Just do it! This is the actual part of the commercial of one of the most famous brand of Nike it signifies strength, confidence, power and determination to succeed, just like their brand name. They have established a very strong reputation in footwear, apparel and sports garment industry.


     Ask anyone about a sports brand and chances are you get at least seventy percent response that will say this brand. People has a very strong perception about a brand name it sticks to their mind subconsciously and unnoticeably that a person may feel that it is like a breath of fresh air when they perceive something of value and important.


      Bill Bowerman as one of the co-founder and the inspiration to everyone who knows him has definitely change the way people perceived sports as associated to their brand like a child. Sports personalities carry their strength and inspiration to their loved ones to their advocacy and of course to the fame and fortune that they will gain when they win the championship. Subconsciously they are going to use a brand of shoes like Nike to feel that they are better, stronger and confident if they wear the brand of Nike. Their tendency is to put themselves in the shoe of their famous idol in sports, literally.


      First and foremost is the product quality is a cut above the rest. Their shoe fits comfortably and without a doubt it can give you pleasure and mobility of using it, not so heavy and not so light chances are they are wearable. When you talk about other product lines like shirts and socks, head gears, bags etc. they have it all and it not just durable but also fashionable in style. So when the people watch their commercial and try to use one of their products, people are hooked to use and buy again their products.


      Another is the commercial and promotional ideas. They have continuously encourage the people to use their products by continuously instilling in their mind the power of Promotion, Commercials and Sports activities and sponsorship to gain awareness and they are very successful about it just like any other companies who uses the same technique. Their positive logo which shows a straight check mark makes their brand easy to recognize and creates encouragement naturally.


     They have used only the best of the best sports personality to promote their products. People like Kareem Abdul Jabarr, Michael Jordan, and Manny Pacquiao so that people when using their product may feel the strength of these people and feel confident about their products. These have been their marketing activities and up to now they have been penetrating the world in distribution. They have gained international recognition continuously.


      In their effort to excellence, Nike is committed to the changing world of fashion and style. Choose among their fashionable shoes and apparel and you can have all the styles you want. From simple to elegant, they have it so people won’t have a second thought buying it. These products are assured of basic quality and much more.  Acting in the same manner to give back to people their success this company is supporting grassroots communities who are establishing sports activities for social changes. However they do not give charity or dole out but committed to sports activity which is their fashion. In summary; Product quality, Innovation, Promotion, Passion and Fashion is their tools for success. I would like to include and end up with this actual commercial as a very encouraging words for Nike to share about their success to every individual and basically to thank the people in their never ending support in their company.
