      The first and foremost reason why a person is looking for a job is to have money and there is no argument about it. One may foresee that a work may guarantee a monthly cash flow and feel that he need this job whatever circumstance it may bring he’ll be stuck in the job since he feels comfortable and secured even when he knows that he never really wanted this job. But then again he needs this job badly to provide food and shelter for his family. This has been a typical scenario in the workplace that the only motivating factor and determinant is the security and the monthly salary.

According to an interview from a certain branch manager, beside from industry standard salary their name takes pride and prestige of a person to become satisfy in serving people with a genuine smile and a good customer service rendered by their staff.


     They have a standardized operating procedure in handling people. McDonald employing over 38,000 people all over the world is highly motivated and well trained to serve. Their staff has a flexible working options, including transfer of information and training, more than 60 percent of workers all over the world would say they are happy to serve rather than stressed out in work although they know that there are deadline and sales quota that they have to meet while 65 percent of them says that they have a balanced lifestyle at home and in the workplace. The cultural environment that they have developed in helping each other through division of labor somehow give them a job security that all their daily objectives can be done. Satisfied workers range more than 75 percent beside from average salary they are receiving they also offered a performance based pay, health benefits extended to their family, insurances and as an employee they are entitled to discount for almost all branches all over the world.


       Additionally this company offered to the public a well being section on their intranet comprising more than 88,000 members including former employee and franchise staffs and alumni. This program provides health and nutrition information, finance and personal safety.  Most of them would say that they are paid fairly by this company and they are happy with all the perks they have been receiving. Mc Donald gives it to her advantage being a good manager and that’s what this company made her. Maria is a crew member she says that the thing she love most is the people she meet every day and the friends she has gained. Umair says he loves the flexibility of his work and that he sees a bright future ahead of him in McDonalds. Most of this people also encourage others to join the team now because there is so much to gain and nothing to lose.  


      From their point of view we can say that that determining factor why they are employed in this company is more than just the salary and wages they are receiving. Surprisingly money is not the primary motivating factors that makes the employee stand out above the rest, but the job satisfaction and happiness that the job brings in their lives that counts and this has been the greatest force that makes them really motivated to work hard being a part of this company. And this has been the primary reason why McDonald is the number one fast-food chain all over the world.
