The Impact of Nanotechnology on Organizations and Our Daily Lives

Introduction

The science has grown so much in over the years and its proven its importance in improving the livelihood and the industry. The science became one of the most powerful applications of knowledge with the respect of the past project. The goodness of science is it can provide valued answers regarding the mystery of life.

Background and Problem Statement

Technology and science is successfully combined in the later years due to the increasing demands to find a way in quality living. The attachment and the collaboration of the science and technology in the lives of the people and the continuous development can be the evidence of the human interaction with the technology. In the creation of people to achieve the better living, he created and developed the approach through the immense interests and application of the various science principles.

Research Objectives

The first objective of the study is to identify the impact of the nanotechnology in the manufacturing organization that can also be seen in the people lives. The second objective of the study is to provide the other opportunity wherein eh nanotechnology can be applied.

Research Questions

The study understands the complexity and various issues involved in the study of the nanotechnology. As an approach to the principles of the nanotechnology, several questions are prepared to align the study in meeting the objectives of the study.

1.      What is the meaning of the nanotechnology?

2.      What are the various applications of the nanotechnology?

3.      What are the benefits of nanotechnology?

Literature Review

Nanotechnology refers to a wide range of scientific or technological phenomena that focus on the properties of the nanometer scale (around 0.1-100 nm). It is the science of developing materials by controlling individual atoms and molecules to create devices that are thousands of times smaller than current technologies permit in order to impart them with special electrical and chemical properties. The basis of this technology is to change the inherent properties of material like color, abrasion, conductivity etc by reducing its size without changing its chemical composition. Nanotechnology is expected to make a significant contribution to the fields of computer storage, semiconductors, biotechnology, manufacturing, energy, chemical and coating industry. Nanoparticles have been shown to improve the mechanical properties even at low loadings and due to their small particle size; they do not affect the transparency of clear coats. Scratch resistance also improved further due to homogeneous distribution of nano particles in polymers. Even a small amount can retain the appearance of surface without any negative impact on coating and its gloss. There is hardly any technology that has attracted an immense interest in a shortest spell of a few years. Whether it is materials development, chemistry, physics or engineering sciences, there are ample examples where nano-science or technology has created sign of positive developments. Chemical Industry has played a very important role in developing not only nano-materials but also make use of them in various applications. One field where nanotechnology has created a ripple is the paint coatings. Whether it is the improvement of chemical resistance, erosion and abrasion resistance, resistance to U.V. light, anti-fouling properties, nano-modified paints have shown great potential in several industrial applications.

Methodology

The proposed method in the study is the use of the comparative case study. The comparative study can have the opportunity to compare, review the past and related literatures, and then generate its own analysis. Through the guidance of the simple questions provided, the study can provide the quality analysis and conclusion regarding the impact of the nanotechnology.
