An Evaluation of the Airport Supply Chain Management 
The Boeing Company is the US-based aviation company that has a partnership with China; and as the airplane maker, Boeing has a long standing business relationship with different airlines in the world in the field of aviation.  Due to its  commitment to be the front liner in the commercial aviation by offering airplanes an services that provide superior design, efficiency and  great value to various airlines  around the word.      The United States is very positive about its partnership with China in terms of   their aviation joint ventures which employs about 6,000 employees.  Furthermore, Boeing is one of the leading manufacturers of airplanes in the world that offers an effective and efficient supply chain management and operations in the China airport.  Boeing has been serving China aviation industry through its airport services, technical support, and training and flight simulators across the country.  Boeing in China even reaches as far as in Tibet autonomous region.  Additionally, the vertical fins of Boeing aircrafts are manufactured in Xian, while the horizontal stabilizers are made in Shanghai and a partnership with Tianjin which produces interior component parts and non metallic components for airplanes.  Moreover, it has proven in the   aviation industry that Boeing has been a leading and stable partner that has an outstanding reputation in the entire aviation industry in China.

Based on the history of China’s aviation industry, Boeing has been a solid partner of more than 37,000 Chinese pilots, mechanics, engineers and other flight operations professionals such as in maintenance, air-traffic management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, finance and industrial engineering departments.   In view thereof, Cathay Pacific freighter has launched its 747-400 Cathay Pacific plane to create a cargo freighter in 2005.  This freighter was the first conversion by Taeco-Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd.  This company specializes on the repair, maintenance, part manufacturing, and component service and conversion o aircrafts in the airports.  And, Boeing holds a 9.1 percent share with this unit.  Taeco has already produced almost 40 new 747-400 converted freighters that serve around the world to 40 airlines including Air China.  Its air operations center enables to monitor and maintain 1,500 Boeing airplanes while they are in the air through a fancy prognostic forecasting system.  By this system, the air operations center could easily    make strict maintenance on the Boeing airplanes.  This is the reason that Boeing fleets are in service for   seven days a week.  Because of the high tech management of the aircrafts, seconds, the maintenance crews could detect as quick as twenty seconds the existing status or condition of the plane.

On the other hand, when it comes to pilot training, Boeing has a 787 flight simulator to Shanghai along with 5 simulators for the 767 model which is already housed in Shanghai. It must be remembered that Boeing was the official aircraft that was used for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  So, the company had really worked hard to optimize the airspace around the China airport to accommodate all the delegates then.  At present, Boeing services have been spread across China.  Through its high navigation-performance technology; Boeing enables to work with Chinese airlines effectively and efficiently; its aircraft can even fly in between the Roof Mountains of Nyingchi, which considered one of the highest mountains in the world.

As a result of the success operations of Boeing in China aviation industry, the company decided to have a new satellite facility in Beijing, China to connect to the main operations center together with the telecommunication systems in the Untied States.   The US management of Boeing has decided as well to expand its aviation market in the country in order to provide a total good support to the various China airlines.  Aside from that, the Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Integration for Boeing Commercial Airplanes stressed that there is a further  requirement to train more young pilots to be able to meet the highest possible aviation standard in the  different airlines in China; as well as  in other countries.  He also stated that technological improvements are more essential in the growing aviation industry to be able to achieve the complete new generation aviation industry today which never seen before.  Relatively, Boeing Company provides technologically advanced airplanes which can accommodate 500 seats and the longest plane in the world.   Aside from that, Boeing Commercial Airplanes has a global network of suppliers for building high technological airplanes that have sets of quality standard for fuel-efficiency and passenger comfort.  The company also expresses its primary goal to help China in air-traffic management as well as the other airlines in other countries to have a successful air-traffic management.
