Executive Summary

            This is a paper that tackles three articles with regard to effective meetings and presentation management. The essay includes a summary of the three articles; a conclusion and assessment of the article’s main points are also included herein.

In a nutshell, the first article entitled presents the importance and role that ’s Presentation Management system provides for the Tribune Entertainment Company, also known as Tribune. Additionally, the latter organization is the entertainment department of one of the United States’ fastest growing suppliers of television product, while  Presentations is a frontrunner with regard to interactive softwares that support the effective multimedia presentations of a wide range of corporations (“,” 2006).

According to the article, with regard to media presentations, the PowerPoint has truly lost its touch; aside from being outmoded, it also lacks audio visual capabilities that are necessary and vital for vigorous and progressive companies such as Tribune. Hence, Tribune continues its partnership with  Presentations because the latter organization makes use of an up-to-date presentation system that possesses characteristics essential for the acquisition and preservation of present and future clients, such as the following:

  • more efficient management of slides and other digital resources;

  • immediate retrieval of case studies, videos, pictures, research, briefs, corporate collateral, and logos;

  • easier and faster to use;

  • has greater content capacity and flexibility;

  • clients are provided with advanced, aesthetic, and more significant presentations;

  • time-saving and is capable of presenting messages that are right on target

The second article is basically about the informative webcasts that were presented by Webinar Success’ president, .  Success is a company that provides services for a wide range of corporations, with regard to the effective execution of the stages of web conference planning, execution, and follow-up (“,” 2006).

Since presentations through a webcast or webinar is quite different from speaking before an actual audience, one’s interaction method and vocal style with the web conferencing software should be tailor fitted according to the needs and wants of the audience. If done confidently and competently, the presenter would be able to catch the attention of the audience and would likewise avoid diversion from the message.

Hence, the free webcasts by Webinar Success broadcasted over the internet last August 22, 2006 and September 6, 2006, provided tips on how attendees would be able to produce and dispense more efficient web seminars. To do so, the following aspects were covered by the webcasts:

  • information on all the features of the webinar lifecycle—preliminary preparations, creation, delivery, and after-event follow-up with participants

  • presentation evaluation that attendees could utilize to know the advantages and disadvantages of their presentation styles

  • means on how to publicize future events

  • methods on how to keep the audience involved and interested in content of the presentation

The third article essentially tackles the pioneering and internet- competent conject Facility Management (FM) solution created by Conject International. Conject International is renowned for providing contemporary and integrated Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions, and now, it has created the Computer Aided Facilities Management solution due to the growing industry of real estate and construction. Basically, corporations and individuals that need to administer wide-ranging real estate portfolios on constricted finances would benefit from the FM solution because they would undergo improved appraisal of costs and buildings, strategic management, and cost-effective management (“,” 2006).

Conject International’s recently opened office in Dubai now provides to aforementioned clients the following advantages of the FM solution:

  • reduces unnecessary expenses and sustains stable asset life cycles

  • deals with issues such as hazardous waste disposal management and energy conservation;

  • helps reduce building management expenses since clients are allowed to improve the cost-efficiency and effectiveness of their property management system and real estate;

  • allows facility managers and owners to clearly organize their data, expand an individual system for effective supervision of incidents, and control any technical materials.
