Project Baseline is usually the reference points regarding the progress of the project. As the projects continue to materialize, some of these set points can be change regarding the outcome of each activity planned. The baseline should include the best possible estimation of the task duration, cost and other project variable that should be monitored from time to time. Establishing a project baseline is a sign that the planning phase has come to an end and marks the beginning of the project execution and control. Controlling such process is very much essential to the success of the project.
