THE SPIRIT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP
A person with an entrepreneurial spirit is what we need nowadays because of the growing needs and lack of employment our world is experiencing today. A person who has finished college would usually look for a job and tap in the market of competition and uncertainty; this stereo typical is fundamentally a disadvantage for applicant who experienced hardship and unequal opportunity upon job application. They may feel the depression and self pity if not accepted and most of them have fallen into the trap of being a professional applicant hoping they would land a good job when they apply for so many company. Expectedly an applicant may fear the rejection and disqualification of a company if they do not have the proper knowledge and experience on the job they want to apply on to.
Supposed an applicant would be hired, the next question would be; will they be contented in their position? Or will they receive the salary they deserved? Or worst how long will they last? Since companies nowadays only offered a contractual basis for their protection. All this debilitating option is a reality and not an exaggeration. But a person or organization with an Entrepreneurial Spirit would not be limited outside the box, they will not go where the masses go and they will not be swayed in the water. They are the ones who will find themselves positively creating their own path to success since this is their objective and they will go for it.
Basically an Enterprising individual is an Opportunity taker. This people do not just look for opportunity they also build one if opportunity cannot be found. Albert Einstein would never give up even he failed many times. He believe that in the middle of difficulty lies an opportunity that is why he has invented so many great products and service that is being used until now.
Entrepreneurial Spirit is being a Leader. Great leaders like Abraham Lincoln lost his job in 1832 and defeated in a state election, in 1833 his business was bankrupt, in 1835 his love one died and this has been the reason he had a breakdown in 1836. It was 1838 when he decided to run in speakership but he lost. In 1843 he lost again in congress, in 1948 he lost again, in 1949 he was rejected for being a land officer, in 1854 he lost in U.S. Senate, in 1856 he was defeated as a Vice President, in 1858 he run again in Senate and lost again. But he stood up and elected as President of the United States in 1860. History told that he has led the United Stated to freedom against Discrimination and Slavery and this accomplishment will always be the most important legacy of the entire history in the United States of America. He is considered one of the greatest leaders in the entire world.
Entrepreneurs are Risk taker. They can easily assume and predict a problem before it comes out. They have come up with solution before the problem would come to worst. Leonardo Da Vinci created a mini boat before a flood came. In a corporate world where they can easily predict a diversity of option, Good leaders could easily shift into a business before it’s too late.
Enterprising individuals are Innovative. They are the ones who continue to offer more than what we expected they are the ones who develop products and services through Research and Development process, they will never give up until they have master their craft even if it takes a long time. They will always continue to innovate and stand up in what they believe in no matter what. Thomas Alba Edison failed at least 999 times in developing a filament that can be use to light up the world and he succeeded after a thousand times. Until now his innovative invention is highly useful all over the world. In fact his invention has led the world to economic outburst and progress.
The Entrepreneurs themselves is the foundation and walls of economic progress they are the ones who can stand out above the rest. They are the ones who can use their potential and maximize the things they have no matter what the situation and economic trends the country is experiencing. They are the ones who work things out no matter how limited resources they have. Entrepreneurial spirited individual and organizations will always find ways to success they can easily shift and look for opportunities rather than walk out and surrender. All this and more are the spirit of enterprising individual and organization.
