The research accounts towards e-Procurement adoption from wherein core objective places upon identifying of critical factors from within inter-organizational level. Also, recognizing several theory applications relating to system theory, agency theory as well as transaction costs theory where e-procurement is needed to have stable ground from situations catering to eperolehan. The need to recognize and examine issues and critical factors which is specific at eperolehan in regard to e-procurement adoption of the organization, as the concepts linking to the process of e-procurement will be known with literature support base from within Malaysian context.

The emergence of innovative internet technology has far-reaching ramifications on the way business is conducted as it gave rise to e-procurement adoption that accounts for business transaction through World Wide Web. There places in recognition of importance of internet as powerful organization tool for eperolehan to use as there moved quickly to take advantage of electronic procurement factors. The study will need to explore critical factors of e-procurement towards eperolehan in Malaysia as well as its mechanisms for the organization with emphasis on e-procurement among the organization in focus.


The main method of research is case study approach and analysis catering to eperolehan organization in Malaysia along with examination of critical aspects of internet based technology on buyer side of e-procurement function, being aware as to how e-procurement is helping eperolehan in order to enhance competitiveness and challenges to e-procurement adoption. There maybe presenting of research outcomes from conducting case oriented survey upon which there adheres to the gaining of vivid insights into the adoption of e-procurement among eperolehan in Malaysia. Thus, there seeks to uncover the prevalence as well as the extent to which Malaysia is adopting e-procurement, from benefits reap as well as barriers encountered in implementation process. There lacks in e-procurement adoption’s rate among several participants known within  as the research method will cater to assessment and evaluation of critical factors therein also in accordance to gaining in-depth understanding on the factors and mechanisms of e-Procurement adoption at eperolehan. The study approaches to use of qualitative research and such cause and effect relationships. The acquiring of multiple case studies (a total of 20 informants) through face to face interviews, semi-structured, documentations and survey questionnaires. Data analysis: Open and axial coding and use of NVIVO version 8.0 software Propositions: 5 Case selection: Cases already adopted the e-Procurement systems at least for 6 months, and performed buying and supplying products and services via e-Catalogue. The unit of analysis refers to public buying organizations and private suppliers companies (small and medium size enterprises)  The factors to be aware at implies to some level of relationships among buyers and suppliers through known characteristics comprising of TRUST, COMMITMENT, COLLABORATION, COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION and will be evaluated through Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and Critical Failure Factors (CFSs). The mechanisms will relate to e-Catalogue measurement through Perceived Frequency of Use, Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness (TAM Model) Thus, impacting towards financial benefits, non-financial benefits and perceived strategic benefits (Managerial productivity and decision-making process). The possibility with adoption of electronic procurement, estimation of business value of changes to procurement practice is difficult. In addition to internal process and staff issues that attend the introduction of any new information system (,  and , 2005  ), the management of supply chain relationships is important in procurement. The large number of factors involved in inter-organizational systems makes the adoption of e-procurement a complex decision (,  and , 2005 ).
