Gay Marriages: Forbidden

Introduction
The same sex marriage have been a long time argument in our society, however there are still no basis on how to resolve this discussion. As time as goes by, homosexuals have become more accepted especially in the western culture. In fact, some countries are sanctioning the marriage between same sex couples. However, due to the immorality of some same sex couples, many Christian groups still refuse the blessing for the same sex marriage.
Christians based there teachings in the bible and they believe that God impose marriage only between man and woman. The bible says, God created man for woman and woman for man and their unity will beget offspring that will serve as God’s blessing to them. God didn’t hate the gays and lesbian persons itself; He hates the wrong doings of them. The homosexual conduct of each individual is the one referred to as the sin. Although not all gays and lesbians are inclined with such practices still, most of them have been associated always with lust and sex that’s why it creates a negative connotation for most of the people as well as in the churches.
Besides the continuing legalizations of the same sex unions in different countries, still the religious groups consider same sex marriages an abhorrent act against Gods’ scriptures in the bible.
Same Sex Relationships
Two people of the same sex having a romantic relationship have become a subject for discrimination and prejudice over the past decades. They tend to suffer a lot of unfavorable opinion not only from other people in the society but as well as from their own family. The reason to this is that most people find gay and lesbians the source of the immoral behaviors in our society. The term sex is always inclined with homosexuality. This idea has been pierce in the mind of most people. Individuals who are inclined to same sex relationships are fonder of doing such deviant behaviors regarding sex. There expression of love is obviously more unusual that’s why they are being convicted immoral. The conviction regarding this sexual misconduct led Christian groups to decline the implementation of same sex marriages.
Another criticism about the same sex relationships is that it is more prone to cause of the sexually transmitted disease such as genital herpes, anal cancer and AIDS. Although in some instances, both heterosexual and homosexual exercise pervert ness. The sexual activity between both men and both women has still a higher possibility to acquire such diseases. Serious medical consequences are part of this relationship. (2008)
Christians View on Marriage
Basically, most Christian groups take marriage to be normal and proper and consider it as an epitome of mutuality. Their objection about gay marriages is merely because God is the only one that proclaims and ordains the institution of marriage. The sacrament of marriage usually acts as a seal that binds two people together who both came from two different worlds. They voluntarily addressed their selves in this consecrated element of the church to unite them as “one flesh”. But what if the marriage is going to be with the same sex? Does the same concept retain? Most of the churches objects to the same sex marriages because for them it is not only a violation of human right but as well as a violation of the law of God. The concept of the word homosexuality in the mind of most people simply means erotic attractions and immeasurable sexual activities among the same gender. Their idea about the third sex becomes too limited and narrow. They have concluded already that it will only be a cause of much destruction to the morality of the individuals. In some point, they are right, but how about the other members of the third sex who is not included in that category? What about the other members of the third sex who still believes in the idea of a long-term relationship and the idea of the sacredness of marriage?
The answer to these questions is simple, be a true Christian. Disregard evil ways pertaining to the same sex relationship. This is what they considered sins against God hence He doesn’t condemn gays and lesbian. Christianity is all about being the followers of God and they promote love, peace, mercy and compassion. As a shepherd, an individual must repent his sins and be a true follower of Christianity through committing his life to God.
This is a serious matter to all religious sect especially Christians but they stand for what they believe for and according to the Church of Christ in God Inc., they aim to preserve the present definition of marriage as being the legal union of a man and woman. They stick to their opinion that gay marriage are not to be allowed within their church premises because deviant behavior of same sex couples are such violations against their religion. There church has already declared an objection against it despite of the prevalent acceptance of same sex unions. (]2008)
. The same is true among other Christian groups. Marriage is just one of the most significant institutions in our culture. Better maintain its sacredness as it is Gods will. They are also found homosexual couples lacking the capabilities to raise a child. Although they can adopt, things will only grew complicated among them. The values and discipline that should be imparted with their kids may seem to be not applicable because in the first place, the family structure is not in the usual norm of the society. They are afraid that the children are the one who will suffer all the consequences regarding the same sex unions.
Conclusion
The prevalence on the acceptance of the same sex marriage has been renowned by most western countries. In fact, just last month Norway has become the first country in the world that acquires same sex marriage and at the same time handed them the right to adopt and receive artificial inseminations. Equal terms are given to them just like with heterosexuals. More and more country are now open to the concept of same sex marriages as they provide legal recognitions on same sex couples. Approximately, there are already 30 countries that recognize civil unions among same sex couples. However, it still remains statistically insignificant worldwide. (2008, ¶ 4)
Apparently, in contrary with the principles of Christian churches. They still refuse to sanction marriages among gays and lesbians. The establishment of marriage is sacred and divine and God only allow this sacrament between two opposite genders, the man and woman. Although the same sex couples still argues with their equal right among churches, the Christianity still stood up for their beliefs that these people, the gays and lesbians should get rid of their indecent behaviors and practices. Gay is unnatural sex. God only created man and woman. Therefore, marriage is only for them.
Another thing is that gays and lesbian couples wouldn’t be an ideal parent for a child. It would create a deeper complication regarding the environment of the child as he grows old. The union of a man and a woman gives them the potential to bear a child as this child is a gift from the Lord. Christians believes that the marriage between man and woman is efficient for procreation of mankind.
Gay and lesbian, man and woman…are all humans. They may differ regarding their gender, their ability, their behavior and point of view; nonetheless in the eyes of God they are still equal. We should pay respect to each other as part of the virtues of God teachings. However, most of the individuals are getting more inclined to the things that will satisfy them more without considering the morality of the act. Hence, this will only lead them to temptations and obscurity.
At the end of all the arguments and confrontations within this issue, questions were remained unanswerable. Most discussions pertaining to religion results vagueness, opinions are massive, both are quite considerable. However, Christian groups remain influential component of God’s doctrine and a lot of people remain loyal to their religion. It only follows the rule that they are afraid to suffer the consequences regarding the immorality of such behavior cause by same sex relationships. Marriage is a holy sacrament. They should take it always into consideration. Anyway, civil unions are starting getting its way in most part of the world. It recognized equal rights and benefits among homosexual. Therefore at this point in time, it would be the more appropriate form of legality for their union.
