Research problem and objectives


To investigate the effectiveness of frequent flyer program in sustaining airline traveler customer loyalty, two key objectives of this dissertation are:


Q          to understand the principal mission of Cathay Pacific in offering frequent-flyer programs to their customers; and


Q         to explore whether Cathay Pacific can grasped the fundamental wants and desires of their customers through the existing frequent-flyer programs (i.e. customer database)
