Writing an essay means an attempt to express one’s thoughts and ideas. However, to write something that is meaningful, formal, and academic is to observe certain structural guidelines and laws in making an essay.


The thesis of this process essay is that process essay helps one builds a coherent, organized, and logical flow of ideas by following a set of standards and guidelines.


Many suggest that a process essay observed rigid rules in writing. Although, one who writes a process essay may not consciously aware of this fact, yet, for academic purposes, it does follow a regimen.


In order to further discuss this idea, it is only proper to take a serious study anchoring the issue on the thesis statement just laid down in the above notes. Using serious methods and approaches mostly based on the linguistics, this study attempts to provide analytical and linguistic discourse on how does an academic writer or a student helps to think coherently and logically by observing the regimen and structural guidelines of the process essay.


Moreover, this study seeks to gather information through an interview, survey, and some related literatures to support the thesis claim of this study. Students in the higher academic level will be the main object of for survey and interviews.


 


 


Thesis 2


Through the play pf language which can be either symbols or signs, we can able to express our feelings, thoughts, ideas, and actions. Only through language where we can able to find our niche for communication may it be a verbal or non-verbal communication.


            Considering these facts about language, we learn our formal lesson and proper access to knowledge through education. We are hence, being discipline in a formal and academic way. One of the disciplines in which our educators and mentors tried to inculcate is writing, in particular an essay.


            The thesis of this study stands on the idea of the effectiveness of process essay on the cognitive development of students and promotes a structural way of thinking.


            This claim grounded on the belief that if a student is trained to write and read process essay, we can argue that in any means, it can help develop our cognitive formation and a structural way of thinking.


            In order to give in-depth understanding on this claim, a serious research should be employed. In this manner, using appropriate psychological or cognitive theories and linguistic approaches, can able us to determine the effectiveness of the process essay on the cognitive development of a student and it promotes a structural mode of thinking.


            Furthermore, empirical data gathering and related information on this topic is highly usable in supporting the thesis claim.


 


Thesis 3


            There are two types of writers – technical and creative writers. Both may have different approaches to invoke and utilize, yet, they both have a common identity, that is – the critical observation on the flow of ideas, its logical correlations, and synthesizing end. In writing, both assumed different techniques and methodological formats and guidelines. Process essay falls under the technical writing. The problem on how to write process writing is not new to technical writers because technically, writers in this field observed structural guidelines.


            This study seeks to analyze the structural form of process writing in a way in which a writer can more express his thought more than giving a structural guidelines and rules. Yet, despite of making an alternative route on the standardized rules and guidelines he still keep the brand of a technical writer.


             This stance is basically believe on the idea that in process essay writing, one can temper or even take an alternative route in writing without destabilizing the rubrics of process essay. This is to let a writer expressed more of his/her thoughts and ideas which is the most important.


            In order to prove this claim, the use of forensic linguistics, linguistic analysis, and structural language formula and methods will be utilized. This study is highly qualitative.


 


 


 


Thesis 4


            Common in writing a process essay is the technical conformity to the structural set of rules and guidelines such as introduction, content, and synthesis or conclusion. This is in the technical form of writing a process essay, yet, one can be able to write and make a more substantial, moving, meaningful and academic process essay through its content. We cannot be able to go away with the technical form of a process essay, but we can be freer to express our thoughts and ideas through content.


            The thesis of this study stands on the idea that one can write a meaningful, academic and moving process essay by invoking a kind of attitude that is critical, discursive, and analytical.


              It aims is to recommend and motivate students who are engaging in process essays to use this alternative not only to appeal effective writers but most especially is a cognitive exercise to think critical, analytic and discursive.


            This study proposes content analysis as a method in analyzing and examining selected process essays that reveal a critical, discursive, and analytical attitude of a writer.  Moreover, the analysis of this study will also be based on the gathered information coming from different related sources like interviews, surveys, and books.


 


 


 


 


Thesis 5


            It is under our language command in which we express clearly our thoughts, sentiments, and ideas on certain political, social, and personal issues. In this process, the expressions are made available not only on verbal communication only but more accessible to writing. In any ways, when we engaged in intellectual discussion, peers sharing of experiences, we cannot but succumbed to use language and its constructions. It is also true in writing wherein we express, share, and discuss.


In writing a process essay, the importance of structural form should be observed keenly and the logical and systematic flow of thoughts and ideas that springs from the main theme and object of discussion should be strictly observed. However, others may not be aware of the rubric as of this kind; it can be considered for what are more important are the ideas and thoughts that flow while writing the content of the form.


            The thesis proposes the idea that standard structural design of process essay can serve as a concentrator of synthesized ideas to encapsulate them in its proper position, while process essay content can be exploited in a way a writer would like it. But the question on how to write a good process essay is fundamentally a matter of using a sound grammar, lexical expressions, and semantics. In order to quantify this claim, further analysis should be done. In doing so, linguistic approaches, methods, and theories on language structuralism will be highly significant. This study is highly qualitative and the use of related studies and information will be deemed relevant to support the claim.
