The Interpretation of the Scripture on Luke 22:24-30

Humanity in the contemporary world ascribe with the lures globalization offers is cohesively preoccupied with monetary growth and increased commercialization. Businesses shift emphasis in monetary dominion over generosity on basic human needs. For example, to provide prime necessities like water, food and education as basic human needs in a commercialized world amidst global job market poverty, deficient income levels need to be coped at high costs. Basic living standards are fraught with inflation and soaring educational attainment standards required to attain tangible human security and independence bear stiff competition. All business sectors cram tosynergical speeds with little patience to exercise imbuevested interests to achieve at minimal compensation. The lack of human touch pervades as a social norm and the search for the best talents to the least cost and efficient disposal is the lowest standard requirement to survive in a complex world at extreme modest means. People migrate abroad to diversify and optimize their skills appropriate to educational background they attain and meet career aspirations to overcome enigmatic poverty is approaching at a brink. The domain globalization stretches over humanity inscribe in a fragmented society demand costly and upscale resources to survive. There leaves no space left for man to mobilize in the physical world and a steady reliance to resort to. Where does man end and resort further to conquer the world with his limits within human capacities? Divine will has given man talents, but it seems the dominion reality reigns over the notion that divine will controls our destiny. All people know in varied religious beliefs that all humanity that pass over earthly life end in eternal life.

People fraught on the spiritual side more than meeting physical needs virtually blinds the physical reality which links to the wills of divine power.  The Scripture in Luke 22:24-30 reveals Jesus gives man hope without worldly means to gain eternal life and endless happiness. However that will all depend on how man conducts his earthly life. Man is still obligated to do his part while divine will guides man to the right path leading to righteousness and God gives man the free will to do good or evil he possesses upon full control of his actions according to judgment. The riches the physical world circumnavigates though how dynamic it perceives man with endless opportunities are supercede by the fact that the physical world is subject to mortal destiny. Within that sense we do not need to possess power, might or material riches nor hold the world in our hands to possess God’s kingdom as our final destiny. This conforms to who is the greatest. But the greatest to possess God’s kingdom needs humility as the core tenet in our lives that relates how we apply that in society. Man in every dealing, whether in business dealings or personal matters should emphasize generosity and forgiveness on every shortcoming others have caused us so that whatever mistakes we are liable with the inability to cope as a fore obligation is forgiven. Reference to the statement, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors,” illustrates the exact picture what the contemporary world we live within outlooks. Man in the physical world is liable to the world borne on his relentless obligations attribute to commercialization while he lives.  Therefore as human problems borne from the debts man owe from this innate liability as our cross, man has nothing to worry about to resolve the challenge man faces in life. Man’s belief should thrust with complete surrender to divine will with undivided trust to solve the problems man faces but man has to do his part on his end. Man is not created perfect on his abilities though created in the likeness and image of God. While God gives us to our disposal talents, because of his love for mankind, he does not want man to separate from him which maintains enigmatic to human perception.

With the added statement, “But not so with you, rather let the greatest be the last, and the leader to serve,” Jesus challenges man to accept this governing principle in human life that man should deem to reign over his actions regardless to the aspects in life he applies to.  It seems difficult for man to accept this challenge. God in his will and power made all things good for man for his human welfare and to address his varied needs in a long stretch from basic needs to the affluent resources the world offers beyond man’s understanding.  Man should always remember that all tangible possessions as a visible reality in our midst come to an end the fact life is mortal and all means attached to life is finite. But at most times, because of man’s preoccupation to a phletora of concerns that he thrusts in life, supercede the fact how mindful man should be attributing all praises to God for all daily graces man receives. Jesus as king of kings and lord of lords seems scant to be the central slogan in life that attribute to the reason of man’s existence. Sometimes man crosses not only heavy problems but crisis in their lives, seems all possessions man usually possess come to an end. The riches man initially possesses is not guarantee to maintain for a lifetime. Man is lured within his perceptive limitations that his abilities can conquer the world at his sole disposal but the fact no matter how much we relies on God’s total will. It is central in Christian belief that if man shares his possessions to others especially to the poor at our expense, then God in his disposal will not only abandon us in the midst problems persist no matter how sheering it may be, but will reward us with countless blessings that man realizes overtime. Therefore faith is the only seed that man needs to invest as a life priority over other material concerns. As the biblical passage goes that it takes only a mustard seed to move mountains if we put our faith in God.
