It is of my best belief that contemporary organizations are in need of effective, proactive leaders. This is because as companies grow in size and complexity, challenges and opportunities are encountered, and so the necessity for more efficient organizational leaders multiple. There must be an organizational leader that can develop and facilitate strategies that will address the different threats imposed by the internal and external environment and at the same time can explore the opportunities that the new business environment provides. Leadership is an important component in the existence, survival and functioning of any organization. My one goal for the future is to contribute to the delicate intricacies involved in successful execution of how an organization should conduct it business through its leaders. Realistically, it is expected that there are many obstacles onward the path to success both for organizations and leaders.


In lieu with this, I expect to be able to acquire not just the necessary KSAs (knowledge, skills and attitudes) but also the confidence in applying theories in real-life situations especially in aspects of the life cycles of organizations with emphasis on organizational development and management and human behaviour in organizations. The competence and expertise obtained through the course will enable me to match personal KSAs with KSAs required for the choice of organization to get involved with – as a career. Realizing this, I anticipate learning to develop strategies and plans, and to put strategies into actions, within an organization and its peculiar set-up as well. Simply, apart from gaining education, the completion of the course will endow me to be more competitive in the field and to achieve better employment prospects. I am confident that the course can provide me the avenue that I need in becoming a proficient organizational leader.
