Literature Review

The operation of the park is concentrated in promoting the tourism in the country. Such like the Disneyland, Hong Kong is committed to promote the quality of service in terms of entertainment. Ocean Park has conservational, educational, recreational, and entertainment functions that follows the popularity of the Disneyland. With the aid of the Ocean Park, the opportunity for additional investment is open and capitalizing the increasing number of tourists is projected. The Park’s purpose is to revitalize and enhance its role as a world-class marine theme park. The ongoing development of the Park is only proves that there is an available space for progress. Together with the interaction of an innovative technology, the Ocean Park is continuously operates and provide the kind of experience that the visitors as well as students can remember in their entire life.

The system that composed the entire Park is suitable for intended usage and is subject to the different climatic conditions and operating environment of the Ocean Park. The structures of the Park is well designed and engineered to provide the quality of services and to promote itself as one of the tourist spots in the country (Maunsell, 2006). All of the proposed projects start in the appropriate planning, capital management, budgeting, price setting, and other related train of activities. Finances is the most vital source for the tourism and its product therefore it is a big issues for the focus of conservation of the marine life and the participation of the government is also sought. All of the elements of cash management and its capital raising play essential part in the continuous operation of the business.

The life of the business is supported by the effective marketing strategies and most of the sound decisions of the management came from the sound market research. Successful business leaders believe that an effective marketing strategy is necessary in their aim for tourism and the ongoing path for the success. Therefore, a sound market research and the other key factors including the objectives and clear concepts are valuable in the planning. Part of the strategies is the hiring of the valuable people that can manage the project even there is not authorization coming from the supervisors.  In tourism, or any organization, the success is impossible to reach if there is no collaboration of human skills and knowledge (Carlsen, et al., 2008).

Spending in the tourism, especially when it is educational, environment-friendly, historical, and cultural are great advantages in a country that values the importance of heritage. Hong Kong is a great place to learn and invest. Their tourism functions in its aim for the stable position of their economy and in the global perspective there is a great push for another advantage for Hong Kong if the Ocean Park, along with the Disneyland, keeps the rate of return of the visitors.

Although authorities are also alarmed about the damages incurred in the industry and the threats such as terrorism is not apart in their national security. The international business and competition for the tourism is intensive, therefore, the need for a sound marketing strategy is a defined action for the globalization and commercialization. Various marketing decisions are created that can create an impact in the natural habitat of the marine life and can change the culture and the socialization of the people in the area. Different environmental adaptation and awareness for both people and marine lie are expected to promote the competency in the international market and tourism.
