Is Cadaver Research Ethical?

Using cadavers or dead human bodies for medical experimentation and medical research has been already practiced in the medical field, as long as the consent of the family members has obtained by the medical personnel.   Today, using cadavers or dead human bodies for medical experimentation and medical research is very common practice in every hospital around the globe.  As long as the medical personnel have able to obtain the permission of the family members of availing the cadaver, they can already examine the dead body of the patient for medical purposes.  However, until these days, the stigma of experimenting cadaver by medical people is still a great stigma by so many people around the globe.  Many arguments have been said and done about this issue, but the bottom line here, a living cadaver is the biological body of human being; whose mind has permanently stopped to function.  The consciousness will never be back again to his or her body.  In addition to that, there must be written letter from the person who will donate their bodies as living cadavers; in order to declare legally that the donor is fully understand the concept of a cadaver and completely agreed to have his or her body used for medical purposes.

A cadaver is legally dead.  It is used in the medical research and experimentation   draw the line between the living and the dead.  Modern medical technology has had several years of experience with this medical concept in the field of medicine.  Before medical group of people will do the process, there are medical steps taken in order to give respect to the human bodies.  The time and death of a person will be recorded as will be declared by the doctor. There after, the official death certificate will be filled out by the doctor in charge and it will forward to the death record section of the patients.  After doing all the legal procedures of claiming the cadaver; the dead body of the person can still be used for biological functions. And, the ownership of the cadaver would be passed through the medical institution for whatever medical purposes it may serve them best.  And, one of the usage of human   cadavers in the medical profession, scientists and doctors are experimenting these dead human bodies for ballistics gel, bullets shells and other military projectiles on human cadavers, in order to see the effects of them in the human bodies.  Subsequently, it was found out by the munitions experts that a bullet must be travelling at least 200 feet per second or 136 miles per hour before in may break the skin. On the other hand, travelling as quickly as 330 feet per second or 225 mph may bounce off your body under certain condition.  The effects of bullets to human bodies depend on many factors. Moreover, experimentation on these devices to living cadavers is a   continuing issue in the society today.  This is to be able to measure the new military ballistic tactics in shooting their enemies in war. After testing their bullets to living cadavers, they will know exactly, what are the vital organs that must be targeted on them to be able to easily kill the enemies during war zone.

In view thereof, many contributions of  dead human body does to various fields of science such as in medical research., Testing new artificial organs, as well as other medical devices before applying them in live human  bodies  are some of the forms of  medical research and experimentation that scientists and doctors do with the human cadavers.  Nevertheless, every individual has its own perspective regarding this issue, but the most important fact here is to take great chances to help the rest of mankind to   live a better life while still alive and kicking.   And, this can only be done efficiently and effectively by thorough medical research and deep experimentation.  If the living cadavers are the only way to resolve all the health issues that the world is facing today, why not? In as long as it is done legally, and the medical field does not harm anyone in the process, instead they are doing all these things for the betterment of the whole mankind.  Relatively,   science does not break any human law as it is viewed by some other people  in using cadaver for medical experimentation.  Being open minded and having a broad perspective in how can people improve and enhance medical study and application to human bodies is the mainstream of using living cadavers by so many scientists and   doctors.
