Cultural diversity in Australia is increasing dramatically.  People in the medical field need to be aware of a range of cultural issues that will affect them in the workplace.

Task

                              

• Find 2 journal articles discussing cultural issues in the clinical health environment, from 2 different cultures.  These may be about different racial or religious groups from any country, including Australia.

 

• Give a brief summary of both articles showing evidence of understanding (600words)

 

• Discuss the issues found in both articles in relation to your role as a Radiation Therapist or Radiographer.  How could these issues affect you in the workplace? (400 words)

 

• List at least 3 data bases you have searched and indicate in which database each reference was located

 

• Provide a full text hard copy of both articles
