HOW NISA LOCAL (NISA TODAY’S INDEPENDENT RETAILER) CAN POSITION ITSELF TO BECOME NICHE RETAILER?


 


Nisa Local is one of the popular convenience stores selling variety of snacks, drinks, newspapers, magazines, cigarettes and confectioneries. Nisa Local’s convenience stores sell top up cards and selection of groceries. They are also licensed to sell alcohol and lotto tickets. Currently, Nisa Local is an independent retailer that is growing in business.


 


             Niche Retail on the other hand is a successful and rapid growing ecommerce company that refines its success through extensive and healthy network relationships. Niche retail takes pride of being one of the most successful online shopping businesses in the United States.


           


            Needless to say, there is a significant difference between Nisa Local and Niche Retail’s position in the market. Niche Retail has established a wide network of consumers while Nisa Local is an independent retailer.


 


            This study is interested on the relevant business strategies Nisa Local may apply to position itself in the same level of Niche Retailer. This study would like to make an in depth research, to be able to find the necessary action to change the market position of Nisa Local. This study aims to arrive in a business plan or business strategy that would make Lisa Local in the same level with Niche Retailer.


 


            This study will consist of two parts. It will start analyzing the business strategy Niche Retailer used in making its company successful. From there, this study will analyze the position of Nisa Local, and evaluate the strategies used by Niche Retail whether it would fit and work to the company.


 


            This study will be beneficial to business persons who have the same nature of business.
