In view thereof, this is my   sample application letter for any  university abroad  for my  supposed further studies to enhance my skills and knowledge about the  degree  I earned in college.  The intention of this application letter is to convince my reader of how motivated I am to pursue a Master’s program in Broadcast Communication and Journalism that mainly focused on Public Relations;   in the same way, to cite my educational and professional background.    I strongly believe that  both my educational background and my  solid experience in the  field of media  help  me to become  a deserving candidate  for the program.  Aside from that fact, studying abroad is my ultimate dream for several reasons.  First, I would like to become an International Public Relation Officer.  During my college years, I was able to   contribute my    broadcast and journalism skills and knowledge through    various debate organizations and contests in our school.  Relatively, I became   first chairwoman   in our school department to organize three debate contests.  In addition to that, my English proficiency has been developed more when I joined in the linguistic multinational corporations in my own country.  As most of our clients are Westerners, they really helped me to develop my communication skills in various languages.   Being a project manager of the company I learned how to communicate effectively with various cultures and clients.  This is also the major reason that I am interested to   study different cultures for my further studies; as well as to meet foreign students and different people in the world.  When I was a kid, I got a chance to visit my aunt in Scandinavia during holiday; and since that time, I have been eager to   learn North European culture.  And, I know that studying abroad would be a great opportunity   to increase my knowledge in Scandinavian culture.  And being a future international public relation officer, it is essential to learn various cultures to become an effective   public communicator.

Despite the practical experiences I have acquired, I still believe that they are not enough , I still need a more advanced  systematic academic training in Public Relations for me to be able to  learn the most innovative and advanced knowledge in the field of  international  communication.  This is also the major reason that I would like to apply for a Master’s program from the International School of Communication   in a premium university abroad.  I am very confident that through your Theories and Designs of Communication Campaigns, PR Communication Technique, Management of Public Information Campaigns, as well as Mass Communication Theories – all these academic programs will   help me to concentrate on international communications.    I am also interested to   study marketing strategies, advertising, film and televisions which are also related to     the career that I would like to specialize   most.    With all these in mind, I am looking forward  to  your favorable response on  this matter.

Sincerely yours,
