This extravagant event is being sponsored by Virtue and Valor Ministries, a division of Quantum Leap Consulting Agency. The Women of Virtue Pageant System is designed to promote character, and recognize the talents, abilities and spiritual gifts of Christian women 13 to 45 years of age
America is in dire need of realistic and healthily depicted Christians, especially Christian women. All too often the media reflects Christian women as over zealous and or second-class citizens. The Virtue and Valor Ministries “Pageant System” focuses on women who exemplify the characteristics of a Godly woman.
A Godly woman is wise and carries herself in wisdom and esteem. Her life style accentuates the fruit of the spirit. She walks in love, in joy, in peace, in patience, in gentleness, and in self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Each contestant is required to have a sound biblical foundation, must be in membership with a Christian oriented church for at least five years, currently active in ministry as well as submit reference letters from their senior pastor and immediate ministry team leader just to begin the application process.
The Virtuous Woman Pageant has been met with great enthusiasm. This is an exciting opportunity to recognize women of virtue with courageous hearts. This pageant is not a beauty pageant, but it is an “inner beauty pageant” which focuses primarily on the character and heart of the contestants. The Virtuous Woman Pageant has replaced many of the undesirable aspects of pageantry with biblical truths.
With Virtue and Valor Ministries, the word pageant takes on a spirit filled meaning and we refer to it as our very own in house acronym.”
P - Promotes Christian Women to lead purposed, Godly lives to the edifying of Jesus Christ.
A - Acknowledge God-given talents and abilities of notable Christian Women.
G – Glorify God through personal prayer, praise and worship.
E - Encourage contestants to study the Word of God, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
A – Apply God’s word to our daily living by operating in the Fruit of the Spirit.
N - Nurture Women of God to be active in ministry at home, in their community and abroad.
T -Teach the importance of God’s purpose in utilizing Spiritual gifts and the power of intercessory prayer.
